We started off with car-free bay area, and now we've narrowed it down to the topic of PLAY, specifically outdoor play for the ages 5-12 years old. It might seem like a giant leap, but really it was through our brainstorming on the topic of car-free that play came about. We kept on noticing the fact that less cars means more open space and greenways. And, what do you do with these new areas? Well, you build playgrounds and parks of course. A place for children, families, and the community. A outdoor play space could be a location that brings a whole community together. Maybe the community even builds it together.

I hope that anyone that comes across our blog finds it to exciting and interesting, and please chime in if you have some thoughts about the past, present, and future of play.
